Recently Aoki has become known for his venture into the music metaverse and NFT ecosystem, involved with crypto currency and digital art. 3LAU NFTs

Justin Blau, 3LAU on stage, has sold some of the most expensive NFT collections out of any EDM artist. His Ultraviolet project generated over $10 million. What is unique about 3LAU is that he did not use popular NFT sites like NiftyGateway or SuperRare. Instead, he built his own site, 3LAU NFT, to auction the digital collectibles.

Alesso NFTs

Superstar DJ Alesso created a NFT project called Cosmic Genesis, released at Dreamverse, a NFT art and music festival. NFT owners were given exclusive opportunities to interact with Alesso. But, what makes Cosmic Genesis extraordinary is the single edition NFT ‘One Of’ which awards the holder a trip to space.

Carl Cox NFTs

The King of Techno has also been involved with a few NFT releases. Although not to the extent as DJs like Steve Aoki who have created NFT communities. Carl’s flagship NFTs were created in collaboration with artist Hipworth. The NFTs “Live by Hipworth x Carl Cox”, “Carl Cox Portrait” and “Cyber Soul” are on Nifty Gateway.

Tiësto NFTs

DJ Tiësto entered the NFT scene at EDC Las Vegas in 2022. He announced the NFT called “Tiësto’s All Access Eagle” during the music festival. This NFT will give owners previews of unreleased music and other VIP perks. Check out the AAA Eagle NFT on LGND.

Armin Van Burren NFTs

Superstar trance DJ, Armin Van Burren, started his journey into web3 in December 2022. He announced “Armin’s All Access” (AAA), a fan club powered by the blockchain and NFTs. All Access NFT holders receive exclusive access to new tracks, merchandise, live shows, and in person events. Armin has set up an incredible looking site for Armin’s All Access and the NFT artwork is quite impressive. Since the community launch, Armin has invited NFT holders to a live viewings of one Armin’s radio shows and sets.

Digtal artist Rik Oostenbroken created the artwork for AAA. 2500 tokens were created with ten color variations–two of the variations are limited edition. Check out OpenSea for some of the digital art.

Sasha NFTs

DJ Sasha has released two NFT projects. The first collection, released in 2021 on LGND.art, was a celebration of the LUZoSCURA compilation album and created in collaboration with artist Drew Geraci. “TEN”, released in late 2022, is Sasha’s second collection. It was a ten year celebration of his Last Night On Earth (LNOE) record label. TEN, listed on Nifty Gateway, included ten visual artists and ten musicians.

The EthBoy NFT collection also featured Sasha. EthBoy is a take on Picasso’s ‘Paul Dressed as Harlequin’ with Vitalik Buterin as the main subject in the artwork. The NFT projects ten chapters will be released over time. Four chapters have been released as of February 2023. Chapter 4: TRANSCEND (I’ll Spread My Wings) features music from Sasha.

Richie Hawtin NFTs

Electronic Dance Music DJ, Richie Hawtin, is also at the the forefront of technology and music. Known for his creativity and use of technology in producing music and performing, it’s no surprise Richie has jumped into web3 and blockchain technology.

Richie has teamed up with deadmau5 to launch Pixelynx, a decentralized platform that combines music, gaming, and blockchain. The goal of the platform is to reimagine how music and gaming are created in the digital world, giving artists and their audiences new meaningful ways to connect.
