Let’s take a look at a few other projects in the DJ NFT world like DJenerates, Nifty DJs, and Moonwalk.
Nifty DJs
Nifty DJs is a NFT collection based on DJs in the metaverse. The collection consists of 20 different DJ consoles with each console playing an original EDM track. There are 10,000 different DJs in the metaverse that will play the consoles.
Each NFT has a different rarity traits and unique graphics. The minted collection is on OpenSea. Owners are awarded new music and art when new NFTs are minted. Once all the NFTs have been mint, there will be a huge community giveback. A poll will determine the top 100 DJs for a real life performance to all the NFT owners.
DJenerates Klub
The DJenerates Klub NFT collection was created to connect electronic music lovers through NFTs, music, and art. The project has partnered with a number of high profile DJs, DJ Mag, and the dance club Amnesia Ibiza. There’s another NFT community with a similar name called Party Degenerates, which focuses more on in-real-life events.
In addition to the NFT digital art, DJenerates Klub offers metaverse DJs, virtual clubs and spaces, and a merchandise store. The store sells music related clothing and artwork. Some of the more exclusive items sold require ownership of a DJenerates NFT.
Klub Edition and Superstars are two main DJenerates NFT collections. The Klub Edition is a set of characters that depicts people from the club and party scene. The Superstars collection depicts real life artists like Carl Cox and Benny Benassi.
DJenerates is also hosting a DJ search competition from April to September 2023. Contestants will go through a number performance challenges such as posting mixes and sets platforms like MixCloud or Tik Tok. Points accumulated from performances will be rank contestants on the DJenerates Discord leaderboard.
The final rounds of the competition will include performances in the DJenerates Virtual Club and the Amnesia Virtual club on Decentraland Games. The competition winner will gain instant fandom by getting the opportunity to play a live set at Amnesia Ibiza on October 6th, 2023.
Moonwalk
